If you are 65 or older, or have a disability, you may vote on Election Day without leaving your vehicle. This is called curbside voting. While pregnancy or being post-partum alone is not a disability under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), disability / impairment due to ANY RECOVERY FROM ANY SURGICAL PROCEDURE is. Should someone be recovering from a c-section, or any procedure, making it hard for them to walk, stand, be in crowds / public spaces, please make sure they know they can still vote. They can call their county’s department of elections and their early voting location to make sure. Greeters and other election officials are there to help and will inform voters of how they can help them vote, even if it's a migraine. Some voters find it helpful to bring an assistant who can enter the polling place to ask an election officer for curbside assistance.
